Combining haptic and virtual experiences

A new kind of branding

Coca-Cola was looking for an innovative way to communicate its sustainability initiatives. The launch of the new generation of PET bottles made from 100% recycled PET (rPET) was to be presented to all stakeholders in a creative way at the Swiss Retail Conference.

 

Together with our Swiss partner TMI, we designed a communication concept for this – with the focus on our METARCUBE technology. The METARCUBE extends a haptic product with digital content of any kind – customized, easily scalable and conveniently managed through a backend.

 

All conference participants received a physical anti-stress cube in classic Coca-Cola branding on site. Via the activation app, the specific content linked to the METARCUBE – such as further details on the initiative or company information – could be accessed in a playful way via smartphone.

 

Feedback from participants attests to the positive impact of the innovative application: The usage data was significantly higher than that of comparable measures.

The die is cast

The 'CokeCube' combines a haptic giveaway with digital content: Customizable for each specific use case, it represents the modern alternative for classic event giveaways, but its application possibilities go far beyond that.
