Virtual product presentations for Brother

Presenting large, bulky products has always depended heavily on industry trade shows as the main platform to showcase them. When the 2020 printing trade fair FESPA was cancelled, Brother lost one of its most important B2B sales channels overnight, and needed a way to present its products to B2B buyers without any in-person contact.
Our answer was a virtual product presentation powered by AR-Link, our own augmented reality technology, which uses the graphics power and visual AI already built into iOS and Android to render 3D objects in lifelike detail without requiring a dedicated app. Integrating AR-Link into Brother's website gave any sales channel easy access to the 3D models, offering customers a product experience comparable to an in-person showroom - and, because the model can be placed directly in a customer's own workspace, it also demonstrates the space-saving design of Brother's new printer in a way a physical showroom can't.
Using AR-Link, Brother replaced its lost trade show presence with a new, permanent digital sales channel integrated into its own website.
Brother made a virtue out of necessity with AR-Link - not only finding a suitable replacement for trade shows, but opening up a new sales channel.
